![]() Lowering the EQ from the whole 8k to 12k worked but it would kill the bright acoustic feel, so somewhere hopefully there was an answer. Bummer, because that's in the acoustics sweet spot, so I tried notching narrow areas to try removing the junk, altering the transients slightly to lift the acoustic, or bring it forward, and even side chaining some compression (outside of the noise area). Been trying a few tricks to remove the noise but the inherent noise is at around 8k, to 12k. There's several tracks of acoustic guitar along with about 18 other tracks, and I did end up with this noise buildup from a few different guitar mics. Largely due to it is more of an acoustic piece, and at least in this case, it's really working for me. I simply like what the Bus Driver is doing just a tad better. ![]() ![]() I've already tried the comp in a newly finished song, and I swapped it out for the Waves V-Comp which is a truly fine compressor. ![]()
